ADDSTEAM's goal is to support diverse young professionals and facilitate opportunities for the best and brightest tackling complex issues in the STEAM (Science, Tech, Engineering, Agriculture & Mathematics) fields. We call these recent college graduates, ADDSTEAM Scholars and we support them by giving them a $1000 scholarship to help jumpstart their career, 1:1 mentoring, help build their professional network and help them secure a job in their chosen STEM industry.

STEAM solves incredibly important problems like early disease diagnosis, water security & safety and disaster preparedness in communities with fewer resources. And we’re confident that young professionals like our ADDSTEAM Scholars are the ones to solve these challenges. We want to make sure they get every opportunity to make the world a better place for all of us.

Our ADDSTEAM Career Summit is our annual fundraising event to celebrate the ADDSTEAM Scholars and showcase their achievements and give them resources to meet their professional goals. We have a fundraising gala one evening and the next day we host a series of professional workshops for the Scholars. We celebrate the stories of our Scholars and share with our donors and potential donors the impact their donation makes to these young professionals. We raise money by selling tickets and having a silent auction for our guests to bid on.
