Join the African American Dance Ensemble for Ujima Celebration, which will take place Thursday, December 28th, 2023, the doors will open at 4 p.m. performances begin at 5 p.m., at C3 at the Venue, 5291 Capital Blvd, Raleigh. Kwanzaa is a community-wide celebration of culture and collective call for unity, peace and harmony in the New Year. 

The free, family-friendly event will celebrate the principle Ujima and include performances, a candle lighting ceremony, food, vendors, and more.

Kwanzaa is a celebration for ALL people, focusing on family, friends, and the fruits of the earth. Celebrating the holiday season and Triangle's diversity, AADE’s annual Kwanzaa celebration is a time to enjoy family, community, and culture. Kwanzaa is a celebration of family, community, and culture, centered on seven basic values as building blocks for peace and progress within neighborhoods.

Your donated canned foods and toiletry items will be donated to Catering 2 The Community. A local non-profit that help middle & high school youth understand the importance of professionalism, mentorship, and community service; as well as sharing with the Senior community.
