The Academy for Sciences and Agriculture (AFSA) is a public charter school
for grades K-12, which engages learners in academically rigorous, student-centered, hands-on experiences and leadership opportunities within a science, environmental education, and agricultural context. AFSA works to develop lifelong learners who are curious and care for others, who have high skill levels in applied sciences, and who will be prepared for a future in a diverse, global and changing society.

On January 27th, 2024, AFSA will be holding a winter carnival and in the week before, a silent auction, to raise money for the school and support our mission of offering experiential learning through a hands-on, immersive approach. This includes both on-campus and off-campus experiences. The silent auction will be open to the public and will be advertised to the broad AFSA community and the geographical areas surrounding both school locations.
