Ahavat Torah is a a spiritual/religious community serving adults 45 and over who are deeply committed to social justice and those in need. We build good will across religious divides by providing clothes to school children in low income areas, and through SOVA food pantry helping to provide free groceries and supportive services for over 9,000 people monthly. We support the LGBTQ community, children and youth in Israel, and members of our leadership participate in prison outreach programs, including those that provide employment post-release. We embody the Jewish values of tikkun olam and gemilut hasadim (acts of loving kindness).
We are proud to announce our Gala on July 27, 2025, at the Marina City Club in Los Angeles, which greatly helps sustain our community.
