The Association for Los Angeles Deputy Sheriffs (ALADS) is hosting its 24th annual Bob Hermann Memorial Golf Tournament: Honoring Deputy Ryan Clinkunbroomer on Monday, September 16, 2024, at the Huntington Club in Huntington Beach, California.

The tournament is named after a 27-year Deputy Sheriff veteran, ALADS President and LACERA Board Member Bob Hermann.  Bob was a man who dedicated his life to helping at-risk youth and who lost his life after a battle with cancer.

In the spirit of Bob’s commitment to law enforcement and the community, we created the ALADS C.A.R.E.S. Foundation.  Proceeds are used to help families of law enforcement in need of financial support due to a fatality, near-fatal accident, physical incapacitation, and any other tragedy that would demonstrate that assistance would be prudent. These brave peace officers don’t hesitate to run towards danger to ensure that the public is out of harm’s way.  Sometimes this decision results in a tragic outcome and leaves families torn apart.  We hope that you would join us as we find a small way to bring some comfort for the loved ones.

We are asking for your help in raising money for this worthy cause.  You can select from the attached registration form the level of commitment you wish to participate in.  If you prefer, we are also in need of donation items from your business to include in our free gift bags or possibly in our opportunity drawing.  We anticipate over 140 participants to attend this event.  This is a non-profit charity, so all donations are tax deductible.
