At Wilsonville Royal Family KIDS, we believe that every child deserves a safe and loving home. Unfortunately, many children in our community have experienced neglect, abuse, and abandonment. We are dedicated to providing them with the tools and resources they need to heal and thrive. Our intervention programs, education, and advocacy work together to create a comprehensive approach to supporting children and families in need. We believe that by working together, we can create a brighter future for all children.

Wilsonville Royal Family KIDS has been serving kids in the Portland Metro area since 2006. Each summer we host up to 40 campers and are staffed completely by volunteers who give a week of their summer to invest in the lives of these children. This camp is provided at no cost to the child, their caretakers or the State and is purely funded through private donations and grants.

Wilsonville RFK Camp fosters resiliency, self-esteem, hope and positive memories. The camp curriculum and activities are woven through the modality of Trust-Based Relational Intervention to ensure our children are experiencing truly life giving activities throughout the 5-day experience.

At Wilsonville RFK Camp our campers receive one-on-one attention from safe, caring adults modeling a nonviolent, positive way of life as an alternative to many of the negative, abusive situations which children of abuse and neglect have faced. For one week, instead of operating in survival mode, they can just be kids. With crafts, woodworking, birthday parties, music, dress up and much more, these kids can feel “normal” and once again dream, believe and find new hope for their future.

This year, Wilsonville Royal Family KIDS will be hosting our annual All in for Foster KIDS Casino Night on Saturday, October 26th. This live and silent auction event will be a means to raise funds to help serve our campers better – providing them with the experiences they deserve to thrive and grow during our week-long summer camp and beyond. The evening will include cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, dinner, raffles, gambling with house money to win prizes, and of course, our live and silent auction, all in the name of supporting our camp and these children in our community.
