Description

Wisconsin Independent Learning College is an autism specific 501(c)3 educational non-profit organization located in Waukesha, Wisconsin. Here at WILC, we have proudly guided our students with an ambitious curriculum of daily living skills, communication, group/individual cooking, music and recreational therapy, and pre-vocational skills for the last eleven years. We also offer volunteer opportunities to our students, as well as providing supported employment and DVR job coaching services to those who are ready to enter the workforce.

While we have made incredible progress this year with our outstanding staff and ever growing student population, WILC still has dreams to achieve. This year, our goal is to build out our unfinished warehouse into a pre-vocational and art studio, as well as the planned expansion of our sensory rooms. These new areas could not only provide vital education and activities to our current students, but also help us open our doors to more students.

Held on November 10th, 2023, our 11th annual charity gala will be an exciting casino night. Premier gambling tables will be available for your enjoyment, as well as our student marketplace, silent auction, wine cork pull, and raffles. While you attend our gala, enjoy hand-passed appetizers and grazing tables, desserts from local vendors, and interactive games hosted by students and staff. With your help, we can truly make this a night to remember. We would greatly appreciate your support with a sponsorship, in-kind donation of an item(s) or service, and/or volunteering at our event. Your support or sponsorship commitment at any level is appreciated, whether as a business partnership and or individual donation, and can help change the lives of both our students and staff.
