Each year the Southampton Free Library offers a Summer Reading program for both adults and children to encourage and continue a lifelong love of reading and personal enrichment.  This year’s program will run from June 17th to August 12th. 

The purpose of this letter is to seek your support via gift donations that can be given away as prizes at the end of the program.   This prize will be on display in the library for the entire two months of the summer reading program, as well as listed as a prize in all summer reading program advertising. We will also provide a link to your website on our website’s donations page. It will be seen by an average of 600 patrons per day. 

For last year’s program, we implemented some changes to adapt to the pandemic.  We began offering an online edition of our summer reading program, as well as in-person.  The online edition allowed us to have a broader reach and made it easier to participate.  The summer reading program is a popular and vital program that helps the Southampton Free Library fulfill its mission of offering free and equal access to all forms of resources providing information, education, enjoyment and personal enrichment to the residents of Upper Southampton Township and Bucks County.
