In April, the Allen Elementary PTA will be hosting the Allen Family Round Up. This fun, free event brings families together to dance, laugh and play together all before the end of the year standardized testing begins. Hosting events that foster strong family bonds continue to be a priority for the PTA.  The event includes a silent auction, where money will be used to help support the teachers. A recent study shows that 94% of teachers spend about $750 of their personal money a year to support their classrooms; the PTA hopes to offer each classroom up to $500 to improve their room for the coming year.
