The Hickey Elementary PTA plays an important role in the lives of over 547 students. We are asking for your assistance in making our annual silent auction a great success. Last year, we raised over $5,000. This year we hope to raise $7,000. 

The Hickey Elementary PTA is committed to continuously supporting our All Stars. Our mission is to make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children. We embrace and celebrate our ethnically and economically diverse population that includes students who live 

in east Plano, Allen and Parker. 

Families at Hickey Elementary are never asked for money to pay for field trips, programs or parties. The monies raised during our annual auction, our biggest fundraiser of the year, are a key component in OUR ability to fund field trips, school programs and equipment, educational classroom supplies, classroom parties and a number of items that enhance and enrich our students’ lives. 

The Hickey Elementary PTA provides support to our students and faculty in a variety of ways. Some include:

Field day t-shirts provided for all students and staff 
Multiple teacher appreciation lunches throughout the year
Supplied each grade, K through 5th, with 3 classroom parties and an extra celebration for 5th graders
Purchased numerous items to help the school, such as Science Fair trophies, shelf markers for the library and special art supplies
PTA provided 5th grade camp t-shirts,
Glow Ball for entire student body and family’s to attend
Welcome back family picnic
Spring Family Blue Park Bash
Two on campus assemblies for each grade level to attend
Organized the sale of school supplies & yearbook
Pay for spanish classes at Collin College to assist our librarian to become bi-lingual 
Provide each 4th and 5th grader with a recorder for music performance
AND MORE!

Contributions to the auction are critical to Hickey Elementary, no matter the size of the gift. Each and every donation is needed and appreciated, and will, perhaps, give you an opportunity to reach a population you haven’t yet reached. All donations are tax deductible. Every donor will receive recognition through our communication channels, including our flyers, newsletter, website and social media.
