Dear Community Member,

I am writing you on behalf of the children and teens from Long Beach Alliance who are part of our community in East Long Beach. We are currently planning our 2024 Alliance Youth Silent Auction.

 
For many years we have been dedicated to the students of our community with an active commitment to assure each of them has the opportunity to attend Summer Camp in the High Sierras at Hume Lake without regard for their socio-economic challenges or ability. This annual summertime experience is treasured because of its far-reaching impact on the entire family through the changed lives of children and teens. Summer camp really makes a difference!

 
In support of these goals, we hold our annual Alliance Youth Silent Auction in May to help ensure that every interested 3rd-12th grader is able to retreat from our rapid Southern California culture to the mountains for a week to build friendships, to experience community, and to develop a strong sense of self and purpose.

I am writing you to ask if you would help us send children and teens to Summer Camp by contributing items and/or services in the price range of $25–$300 for our annual silent auction. If you are able to help, please let us know as soon as possible by sending donations directly to Long Beach Alliance Church at the below address (Attn: Meghan Brearley, Children’s Director) along with the estimated retail value of your donation. As a valued community partner, your company logo and information will be displayed prominently during the event.
