Description
Shady Strong- ALS awareness hosts events and fundraisers to raise awareness of ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease. Our annual Backyard BBQ Competition and Music Festival is a family-friendly day in which we celebrate community, honor those still fighting their ALS battle, and remember those we have lost to the disease.
The day will include live music from 11-6, food trucks, BBQ competition, corn hole, vendors, veteran-owned companies, and more!
100% of the proceeds from the day will go towards financially and emotionally supporting New York families and Upstate NY veterans with ALS.
Raffle items are used to create amazing baskets that bring in more bidders! Many of our raffle items are listed for online bidding which helps those who can't come physically to the event still take part. The better the baskets, the more money we raise and are able to give back!
