Currently, more than 6 million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s, and that number is projected to rise to nearly 13 million by 2050. Not only does this epidemic affect millions of lives, but the societal impact of Alzheimer’s and other dementias – on government, families and businesses – is estimated to total $355 billion in 2021 and is projected to increase up to $1.1 trillion by 2050. 

Funds raised at the annual Alzheimer’s Association Purple Gala will help people facing Alzheimer’s and related dementias by supporting critical programs and services, including our 24/7 Helpline, support groups, education, advocacy, and research.

We hope you will support us this year by donating an item to our 2022 Purple Gala auction. In return for your gift, we will acknowledge your generosity in our gala program, which is distributed to 400 attendees.  Our gala will take place on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at The Depot in Minneapolis.
