Amazing Gracie’s Gift Foundation is hosting its 12th Annual Golf Tournament on Saturday June 8, 2024 at Stonebridge Golf Club in New Hartford, New York from 9 am until 6 pm. To help us reach this year’s goal of $32,000 we are requesting a donation for our auction. 

The Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit organization created in memory of Gracie M. Lawton, a 21-month-old who fought cancer courageously before losing her battle in January of 2012. In an effort to keep her memory alive, The Amazing Gracie’s Gift Foundation was formed to help children under age 2 ½ and their families who find themselves in the same terrible situation. There is no doubt that the need for families who are battling life-threatening diseases is huge. Very few, if any, foundations make and create wishes for children under the age of 2 ½.

Last year’s auction included items such as (Tickets to the Hall of Fame Game, Golf Clubs, Gift Certificates, Concert tickets, Liquor Baskets).  The 2023 tournament raised more than $27,000 for Amazing Gracie’s Gift Foundation, directly benefitting children and families struggling with life-limiting diseases.  For your generosity, you will receive recognition at the event, which will host more than 150 participants.

Donors like you have made it possible for our foundation to support children and families in many ways.  Since our inception as a foundation in March of 2012, we have accomplished many goals such as:

·       Financial Assistance/Monetary gifts to many families with children battling cancer.

·       Supported and sent families on vacations to create memories that will last a lifetime.

·       Donated $25,000 to the Ronald McDonald House in Albany for a room in our Gracie’s name that will provide loved ones the ability to stay near their little one in the hospital.

·       We stay in contact with and support families at The Melodies Center at Albany Med and Golisano Children’s Hospital

·       We Sponsor the Beads of Courage program at the Melodies Center at Albany Med.

·       Partnered with the Ronald McDonald House in Albany to help sponsor the Krantz Cottage vacation house in Lake George.

This golf tournament will bring us one step closer to providing monetary and other gifts to families in need.
