We would like to submit a request for a donation for our fundraising event, An Evening at the Kroc: Celebrating our Community. This event will be a fun interactive special night that celebrates 11 incredible years of The Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Center. The event will take place at our Salvation Army Kroc Center Facility on August 24, 2023, and will include live entertainment from Season 8 Winner of the American Idol, Kris Allen, a fabulous sit-down dinner from a local area caterer, and more, all emceed by a well-known and respected reporter from one of our local news stations. We also will be including a silent auction where we are seeking donations to help us raise funds to be able to continue our mission. The Kroc Center provides a safe and accessible environment that enriches the lives of everyone in our community by providing opportunities for holistic individual success. . Members at the Kroc Center gain access to free and discounted classes, online scheduling, and more. Memberships are designed to be affordable for all families and scholarships are available. All memberships include access to sports and recreation programs, the fitness center, group workout classes, arts and education classes, the aquatics center, spiritual programming, and so much more. At the Salvation Army Kroc Center of South Bend, we offer a variety of opportunities for the children in our community to be able to actively engage in educating themselves while having fun and being safe at the same time. We attempt to take our members out into the community to explore and expand their knowledge in endless areas and this donation would allow us to complete one of our goals.
