Youth Violence Prevention Council, a 501c3 has been serving youth and families in our community since 1996. In 2019 the name was updated to Youth Options Shasta to better reflect all its services to youth. The organization continues to provide essential programs to build a safe and healthy community.

On Thursday, September 30, at 6:00 p.m Youth Options is pleased to announce the return of “An Evening at the Vineyard” at Matson Vineyards, 10584 Arapaho Dr., Redding, CA 96003. This “Mix & Mingle” event will include delightful wine tasting, delicious hors d'oeuvres, raffles, and a silent auction. All proceeds will benefit the Youth Options Mentoring Program.

By providing a donation for our raffle/silent auction, you help support our mission to provide positive options for youth in our community.

Studies show that a consistent adult presence, such as a mentor, in a young person’s life can help the person better navigate challenges and make healthy choices. COVID-19 has been difficult for our community, but with closures, uncertainty about school, and distancing from friends, activities, and support systems, it has hit our youth especially hard.
