Our event, An Evening Under the Stars at the Yountville Events Center will benefit Friends of Sunrise Montessori (FOSM), the registered 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation (Federal Tax ID No. 68-0352899), created, led, and operated by parents of students enrolled at Sunrise Montessori of Napa Valley. 

Sunrise Montessori is an exemplary school that has served our Napa community for over 40 years. Founded in 1978, it provides toddler, primary, kindergarten, and elementary programs through the sixth grade. The classrooms at Sunrise nurture each child's unique potential, encourage responsibility and appreciation for other people, cultures, and the environment, and foster the desire for lifelong learning.

Your support will help us continue our organization's mission to: 

Fund need-based tuition scholarships to serve young people from all community segments.
Enhance the core Montessori curriculum with music, art, Spanish, science, and physical education instruction.
Offer ongoing education for parents, teachers, and staff.
Build school community and create a warm, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all families.
Enable facility maintenance and improvements.
Our annual gala is our sole large-scale fundraiser of the year, and we hope to raise $200k with our live and silent auctions. Donors will be verbally acknowledged by our auctioneer, in our printed event program, on our organization’s website, and in all event advertisements.
