Redondo Ballet, a dynamic and unique non-profit 501(c)(3) pre-professional ballet company provides a nurturing, challenging and creative environment that enables dancers to artistically thrive, while simultaneously teaching the dancers to be compassionate citizens of the world. The company’s artistry and innovation has garnered the attention of Ovation TV, the nation’s only arts network. Ovation TV now broadcasts Redondo Ballet’s productions. Redondo Ballet is also a coalition member of Ovation TV’s Stand for the Arts advocacy platform.

The company is holding its signature annual fundraising event, An Evening with Redondo Ballet, on Saturday September 23rd, 2023 at Dance 1 in Redondo Beach, the home to Redondo Ballet. We are looking for donations towards our silent auction, raffle and wine grab. The proceeds of this fundraiser will help fund the philanthropic program, Ballet in a Box, which takes the gift of dance to underserved dance organizations and schools, not only across the U.S., but around the world. The fundraiser will also help fund our two large-scale productions (Through the Pages and The Snow Queen). 

It is now more important than ever to keep the arts alive as companies and businesses are still feeling the disastrous effects of the pandemic. In light of tightened budgets and the struggling economy, donations to non-profits have all but disappeared. But those that we serve through our outreach programs are in even greater need. We desperately need help to be able to provide this important arts outlet and to continue to take the charitable outreach to those in need.
