My name is Jojie Borman, the Leadership Assistant in charge of the Extended Learning Opportunities Program, Anaheim Succeeds! at Olive Street Elementary in the Anaheim Elementary School District. This is a new venture for our school district and I am excited to be a part of building an exceptional program for our families. 

This extended opportunity affords the families a way to recover from the pandemic by providing an after school program where their child(ren) can be safe and supported in a nine hour school day. The essential standards for our students are; student voice and leadership, social and emotional learning, academic support, and STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and math). It is our goal to provide opportunities for our students that are, “pupil-centered, results driven, include community partners, and complement, but do not replicate the learning activities in the regular school day/year.”$0

In an effort to reinforce the essential standards, we want to recognize students’ efforts through a bi-weekly raffle drawing and individual awards. We would love to have highly desirable and motivating prizes for our students to choose from and this is where your partnership and support comes in.
