Project Angel Food, one of Los Angeles’ most beloved and effective nonprofits, which cooks and delivers over 1.5 million meals annually to 4,000 critically ill clients all throughout Los Angeles County – 2,600 on any given day.

 Our 35th Anniversary of Project Angel Food Angel Awards Gala will take place on Saturday, September 28, 2024, in Hollywood. The event is a magical and moving evening where we celebrate the many compassionate donors, friends and thousands of volunteers who make our life-saving work possible. Past honorees include Jamie Lee Curtis, Sharon Stone, Whoopi Goldberg, and Sheryl Lee Ralph to name a few.  This year, Golden Globe nominee Matt Bomer will receive this prestigious honor.

Our summer gala remains a primary fundraiser for Project Angel Food; funds from the event will go directly towards the agency’s operations to purchase food, fuel and other essential supplies for meal deliveries to our most vulnerable neighbors.

For over thirty years, Project Angel Food has cooked and delivered more than 12 million meals, throughout Los Angeles County, to men, women and children affected by HIV/AIDS, Cancer and other life-threatening illnesses.

We act out of a sense of urgency because hunger and illness do not wait.
