Guardian Angel Community Services (GACS) is proud to announce the upcoming 17th Anniversary of our
Annual Fundraising Gala: Angelica: Dancing With Our Local Stars. It is with much excitement that we
announce our 2025 event will be held on Saturday, April 5th, 2025 at Bobak’s Signature Events (Woodridge,
IL). The unwavering support from businesses like yours has allowed our programs to grow and expand
through the years…this fall, our agency celebrated 127 years of service to our community.

Because of your support, we were able to continue fulfilling our mission to provide diverse services that
inspire people to improve the quality of their lives in their greatest time of need. We hope that you will
consider helping us continue to serve our community and to save lives by making an in-kind donation to be
used as a rafflffle or silent auction item at our annual fundraising event.

Your contribution will go a long way in supporting our 6 programs, that have continued to provide life-saving
services, 24 hours daily:
• GROUNDWORK: Comprehensive services for individuals impacted by domestic violence
• SUZY’S CARING PLACE: Transitional housing & support services for survivors of domestic violence
• SEXUAL ASSAULT SERVICE CENTER: Comprehensive services for individuals impacted by sexual assault
• PARTNER ABUSE INTERVENTION PROGRAM: Support & education to foster healthy relationships
• FOSTER CARE: Nurturing and safe homes for children & licensing for foster parents
• EXCHANGE CLUB CENTER: Counseling & education-based services to prevent child abuse/neglect
“Angelica: Dancing With Our Local Stars”, will feature prominent local residents who prepare a dance
routine with a professional to perform at the event. This exciting event includes dinner, a dancing
competition, raffle/ silent auction, an award ceremony recognizing our top supporters and more. The event
is heavily advertised and attended, reaching thousands and offering the opportunity for great exposure and
advertisement.
