I am so excited to share with you that 2023 is the 100th anniversary of Catholic Charities! Our Centennial will be filled with many events celebrating our 100 years of serving those in need with many community-based events. This year our annual breakfast/silent auction will be partnering alongside our Harford County Centennial Celebration.

Opened in 1991, Anna’s House offers safe housing and supportive services for homeless Harford County families.  This program provides every family with a supportive, non-judgmental environment in which they can regain hope, find stability and work toward a more positive future.

Over the past several years we have expanded our partnership to include Early Head Start of Harford County who since 2000, has been committed to providing high quality, comprehensive services to low-income pregnant women and families with young children throughout Harford County.  With our local center as well as home-visiting services, EHS provides a nurturing environment in which children can develop and parents can achieve self-sufficiency.

I am contacting you today to personally request your help with our Annual Silent Auction. All proceeds generated through our silent auction will benefit both Anna’s House and Harford County Early Head Start.  This event will be held the week of March 20th, 2023 virtually, leading up to our Harford County’s Centennial Celebration on March 24, 2023, at Maryland Golf and Country Club.

Our virtual event through our Facebook Page and our online auction site will highlight both Anna’s House and Early Head Start as well as highlight donors, volunteers, and the work of Catholic Charities throughout Harford County.

We are requesting your support as a donor of an item or two, to be used to auction off during our Silent Auction and invite you to attend our event on March 24th 2023.
