Annapolis Junior Rowing Presents: One G-Oar-Geous Evening!
Gala/Party for Annapolis Junior Rowing Association / AJRMar 02, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM
Annapolis Junior Rowing is excited to announce its annual One G-oar-geous Evening! The event will be held at the Annapolis Maritime Museum on Saturday, March 2 at 6:00 pm, and feature delicious food, open bar, silent auction, and entertainment by the band, Sly 45. Annapolis Junior Rowing Association, Inc. (“AJR”) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit youth rowing organization that seeks to make the sport of rowing more inclusive and accessible to all members of our community. Our organization, which embraces athletes and families from all over Anne Arundel County and beyond, needs your support.
Rowing out of Camp Woodlands in Annapolis, AJR gives 7th- 12th graders access to a sport that teaches lifelong skills such as confidence, teamwork, and leadership. AJR is a parent volunteer-run organization and solely relies on registration fees and donations to pay for its operational costs and Freedom-to-Row Scholarship fund, which is awarded to athletes based on financial needs. In order to continue AJR’s Mission of teaching responsibility, building self-esteem, and encouraging physical fitness in teenagers, we need your help. One G-oar-geous Evening is our signature fundraising event, allowing us to raise the money to support these young rowers.
Donations made to AJR are tax deductible and a letter acknowledging your donation will be provided. In addition, the name and logo of your business will be prominently displayed at our fundraising event, on signage and event programs. Business donors will also be featured on the “Friends of AJR” section of our website www.ajrow.org for at least one year.
We appreciate your willingness to support AJR!
Sincerely,
William Swick
