“Come Sail Away” as The Geneva School community embarks on a twilight voyage full of adventure. We are pleased to announce that The Geneva School will be hosting its 26th Annual Auction Gala on March 28, 2020, at the Country Club of Orlando. Each year, this event offers guests an evening of excitement and opportunity: wonderful music, time with great friends, a competitive silent auction, and an entertaining live auction! 

The Geneva School is able to raise funds for scholarships and technology through the annual auction because of generous supporters—donors as well as attendees. Local businesses, online vendors, artists from our area and beyond, and Geneva families and friends all contribute items, services, or experiences. Those who attend the auction have the opportunity to bid on travel, dining, and entertainment; home and sporting goods; event tickets; and health, beauty, and clothing items. We are excited to invite you to participate in making this year’s auction a success: it’s all hands on deck as we prepare for this special evening!

Our donors receive excellent exposure leading up to the auction and during the event. We are happy to display promotional material alongside a donation, and businesses are mentioned in the auction program as well as in our school publication, The Courier. For all of our donors, we wish fair winds and following seas.

The Geneva School is a Christian classical school in Central Florida. We consider it an honor to teach our students to “yearn for the vast and endless sea.” Our hope is that this yearning for what is noble, true, and lovely in the world will lead to a lifetime of learning, building, and sailing off on excellent and praiseworthy adventures that benefit their communities. Last year, we raised $296,000. These funds enriched the lives of everyone on campus because the school was able to serve a more diverse student body, made possible by the ability to offer generous scholarships to Central Florida families. We are grateful for the many ways the auction benefits our entire Geneva community.
