he Deschutes River Alliance is a small organization with a big goal - to preserve the health and water quality of the lower Deschutes River for the next generation. Our 2022 Auction and Gathering -- happening on 2/26/22 -- helps our organization raise critically needed funds to advocate for the health of the lower Deschutes River. The lower Deschutes and the fish who call the river home -- namely anadromous fish such as steelhead -- face unprecedented threats to the ecological health of the watershed. The Deschutes River Alliance (DRA) is helping to restore the river by advocating for more stringent water quality standards and ecological practices on the Deschutes through partnerships with local stakeholders.

Specifically, the funds raised at this year's Auction & Gathering will help us fund our critical science monitoring work. The data collected not only allows us to consistently monitor conditions on the Deschutes but gives us solid science to use for our advocacy work in pursuit of cooler, cleaner H2O on the river.
