On April 30, 2022, Fred T. Korematsu Elementary School Parent-Teacher Organization (KPTO) will be
holding its 13th annual fundraiser. This is a very popular event that raises $40,000 -$50,000. The
Korematsu “Virtual Family Bingo & Auction,” silent and live auction event, will be enjoyed by parents,
teachers and local community members.

Our current fundraising efforts support our teachers and students with enriched events, classroom
supplies and playground safety. The KPTO gives teachers $25 per student to assist with field trip
expenses, classroom supplies, and other much-needed materials. In addition, the KPTO fully funds the
art and theater programs; supplements the science classrooms, library, computer lab, garden and
outdoor education curriculums. All of these wonderful contributions to our school’s curriculum are
possible because of generous donations from businesses and people like you.
