On Friday, April 22nd, Woods Charter School will hold our annual Benefit Auction. The event will be held at The Barn of Chapel Hill, located at 7316 Morrow Mill Rd, Chapel Hill, NC 27516 and benefit Woods Charter School.

Woods Charter School is a tuition-free, public charter school. The school’s mission is to build a community where long-term relationships between students, teachers and parents enhance the learning process. As with all public schools, Woods is incredibly underfunded. All year, we work to raise funds, through an Annual Fund and events such as our Benefit Auction, to make up for this shortfall in public funding. The gifts we receive are utilized for annual support of the school including curricular materials, professional development and a much-needed faculty supplement.

Our Auction is an always anticipated, adult-only night of music, food and drink, centered around spirited silent and live auctions. Last year’s event had over 250 attendees and more than 100 others participating online. The night is our biggest fundraiser, bringing in over $150,000 for our school last year. That success enabled us to give our teachers their largest end-of-year supplement to date - a total of more than $190K! We are looking forward to this year's event and our goal is to surpass last year's record-breaking numbers!
