Our annual Christmas dinner is our biggest fundraiser of the year. We anticipate over 100 people this year with media reach to over 5,000. Our goal is $30,000 to help offset our operating expenses at the rescue.
A Place for Peanut, Inc. a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization founded by Megan Cardet, is a sanctuary for horses, donkeys and miniature horses and provides special programs and equine therapy to children and veterans in hospitals. The organization is devoted to the rescue of horses and other equines from slaughterhouses. Since it was founded in January 2016, more than 350 horses and donkeys have been saved.
