Dear Carnival Supporter,

On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Philomath Youth Activities Club, I would like to thank you in advance for your time and consideration of our request for support. The Philomath Youth Activities Club (PYAC) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to provide positive youth development opportunities to the youth in our community. We do this through providing programs in three core areas: Athletics, Childcare and our drop-in Youth Center. Participation numbers are at an all-time high in all our programs.

In order to meet this increased demand on our programs, 18 years ago, our board, along with the generous support of the Bennett family, came up with the idea of putting on a community carnival. We did not know at that time what a huge success this was going to become! Not only is this event an excellent fundraiser for our organization, but it has also become an annual event that the families in our community really look forward to! We would like to ask for your help with our 16^th Annual “Community Kids Carnival.” This year’s carnival will take place on the evening of May 30^that the PHS football field. We will have carnival games, rides, food, and fun. Our hope is to surpass the 600+ people who have attended the event in the past.

We are offering you the opportunity to be one of our silent auction donors. The auction at the event has grown in popularity and helps us raise nearly $5,000 each year! While any donation is greatly appreciated, we have had particular success with overnight stays, food, and entertainment certificates. With your tax-deductible donation, you will get your logo (if applicable) placed on the bid sheets and your company will be mentioned in several ways prior to, during, and even after the event. The money received from the event will be used to help run our programs and ensure that every youth who wishes to participate is given the opportunity to do so. Any help that you may be willing to give would be greatly appreciated.
