Description

The Williamston Performing Arts Foundation along with the Williamston Bands will be holding its Annual Evening Of Jazz event with Silent Auction on Friday, March 10, 2023.  Through the auctioning of donated goods and services, the Foundation can raise funds for the Williamston Bands Program.  Over the years, we have helped pay trip and Band Camp fees, purchased new instruments to be used in the classroom, new uniforms for the kids and so much more.   Without your generous donation, we would not be able to keep the music alive and provide a safe and creative environment for our students to provide enjoyment for everyone around them including students, parents, family and the whole community that they proudly support.

Our Evening of Jazz event has been going strong for over 13 years.  It started out as a way to encourage improv with our Jazz students.  The Williamston Band Program is fortunate enough to have enough student involvement to have enough interest for 2 full High School Jazz Bands and 1 Middle School Jazz Band.  It started with just students and has blossomed to include world famous jazz performers such as Walter White & Diego Rivera.  All three of our school Jazz Bands perform.  We have over 500 attendees for the event and along with the wonderful music, we have hors d'oeuvres and drinks for them to enjoy.  We also have the Silent Auction to raise funds for our programs.  

We would greatly appreciate any donation that your business or organization would be willing to provide to us for this year’s event.  The donation can be in the form of a gift certificate for service,  merchandise or monetary for a Sponsorship.  We recognize your commitment to our cause and our students through the Foundation Website, Social Media, in the events Program and on signs placed at the event.
