Description

(Joshua Tree, CA. – September 13, 2016) Annual Fall Gala at Copper Mountain College

Copper Mountain College Foundation will host its Annual Fall Gala on Saturday, October 1st at 6 pm in the Bell Center on the CMC campus.   This year’s major fundraising theme, We All have Time Machines, is dedicated to providing ongoing support for CMC students including scholarships, bus transportation, cultural and leadership opportunities.

Cathy Larson, Foundation President revealed recently at the Board of Trustees meeting that Jim Pulliam, the first Superintendent/President for Copper Mountain Community College District will be the featured speaker at this year’s dinner.

In the spirt of the theme, Jim Pulliam will offer a unique perspective on the memories of how the community built its own community college in the basin. His stories, lessons and insight are especially poignant as Copper Mountain College moves forward with an even stronger commitment to success of every individual student.

We All have Time Machines: Some take us back, those are called memories. Some take us forward, those are called dreams.  This event will be an evening of fond recollections and exciting celebration for the future of Copper Mountain College.

To be included in this fabulous evening, sponsorship opportunities are available in the amounts of $1,000, $500, and $250; all sponsorships can be tailored to meet your unique business needs. Additionally, sponsorships offering students a chance to attend the Gala are available for $35. More details can be found on the Foundation’s website at cmccd.edu/Foundation.

Event tickets are on sale for $75 per person through the Foundation Office at 760-366-3791 ext. 4200 or online at www.cmccd.edu/Foundation.
