Description

Mohawk Hudson Land Conservancy's annual fall gala raises funds that enable MHLC to protect and steward natural spaces throughout our Capital Region communities. These treasured areas provide wildlife habitat, water quality protection, and opportunities for families to enjoy the outdoors year-round at our 22 nature preserves.

This year's event, honoring Women in Conservation, will be held on Thursday, September 19, 2024 at the Orchard Creek Golf Club in Altamont, New York. Guests will enjoy a cocktail reception on the patio with stunning views of the Helderbergs, followed by a hearty buffet dinner, and chances to win exciting raffle prizes.

The event is accompanied by an online silent auction, to be held from September 13-20th, which reaches a much broader audience and is a key piece of the fundraiser. In 2023, the online silent auction featured nearly 100 items and experiences and raised $14,000 to benefit MHLC's mission.

Auction donors are recognized in event promotion, including on our website, social media, and in email newsletters.

Through your donation to the silent auction, MHLC will continue to conserve more than 15,500 thriving acres of natural lands in the greater Capital Region and be able to act quickly and decisively to protect our cherished natural resources against the ever-growing threat of development.
