The House Rabbit Network is holding a dinner benefit with a Chinese auction to raise money for the medical bills of our rabbits. It is a fun event which brings a sense of community along with the fundraising. The event usually pulls in about $4000 and has about 200-300 attendees. Last year our medical bills were about $71,000 which includes spay/neuter expenses.

HRN started 22 years ago taking in rabbits, getting them fixed and finding them good indoor homes. We average about 500 adoptions per year. (Rabbits are the third most surrendered pet at shelters). A large part of our mission is education helping people to understand why they should fix their bunnies, keep them indoors, provide medical care, rabbit proofing, etc. The primary area we serve is Eastern and central Massachusetts.
