Rabbi Michael Berk has covered a lot of ground in his 40-year career: rabbi, educator and cook extraordinaire! His retirement in June will mark the end of his distinguished career--the last 13 years of which have been spent as Beth Israel’s Senior Rabbi. On Saturday evening, June 1, 2019, Beth Israel will honor Rabbi Berk’s retirement at our Annual Fundraiser, Berk’s Diner and Comedy Club.

We are looking to you, to provide a donation to Beth Israel in Rabbi Berk’s honor. We look forward to celebrating Rabbi Berk and his many contributions to the Beth Israel community! This fun and festive evening will feature a delicious dinner, a silent auction, entertainment, music and dancing. Proceeds from the event will benefit Beth Israel’s mission to create a welcoming and nurturing home to all who seek a meaningful connection to Judaism.
