Anticipation is building for Beth Israel’s spring fundraiser, Eat, Pray, Sing! on Saturday, May 6. This fabulous celebration will honor 40 years of combined service by three of our outstanding leaders, Senior Rabbi Michael Berk, Rabbi Cantor Arlene Bernstein, and Executive Director Lesley Mills. Our emcee for the evening will be Emmy Award winner Dan Cohen, co-anchor of CBS News 8 This Morning and CBS News 8 at 11:00 a.m. The evening will feature entertainment by NRG Dueling Pianos, an impressive array of silent auction items, sumptuous cuisines and signature cocktails! We expect over 400 people to attend the event.

Founded in 1861, Beth Israel is the oldest synagogue in the San Diego community with a dynamic congregation of over 1,100 families including many who have deep roots in San Diego and play a vital role in business, finance, real estate, academia and the arts. Many of our programs are of interest to the general community. Our Leadership Development Institute has provided scores of knowledgeable and committed individuals who have been very active and influential in a variety of local civic organizations.
