Who We Are

Wells Bring Hope (EIN # 27-3123341) is a Southern California-based nonprofit that is dedicated to saving lives with safe water. Since it started in 2008, WBH has drilled 800 water wells, bringing safe water and sanitation to over 800,000 people in rural villages in Niger, West Africa, one of the poorest countries in the world.

· 1 out of 7 children in Niger never reach their 5th birthday and 85% of women cannot read or write.

When a well is drilled…

o   Child mortality is reduced by 70%

o   Girls, no longer having to walk 4-6 miles a day, can then go to school and women are given microfinance tools to help them start small businesses.

Our Event

Our annual fundraiser will be held on Sunday, September 22, 2024 at the Club Room at Bel Air Crest, an exclusive gated community in Los Angeles. The event will include both live and silent auctions. At our last in-person fundraiser, we raised funds for 25 wells, over $150,000, and we expect to exceed that at this year’s event. 100% of all funds raised go directly to drilling wells.  

How You Would Benefit

We will be actively promoting our event and featuring our offerings via social media and through emails. We will use an online auction site, Bidding for Good prior to the event for display purposes so that our guests will be able to see what we will be including in both our silent and live auctions. In addition, your donation will be featured in our event program and also in a very attractive table display.
