TSVF's annual dinner started as a rememberance of a beautiful girl who took her own life at the tender age of 13. Although Sophia had the tools to become a successful adult, she fell victim to anxiety, bullying, lack of self-confidence and other challenges that many of our children face today In order to keep her spirit alive, Sophia's father is determined to do everything he can to empower today's young people to take a stand against bullying, find support around challenges and embrace each other’s differences.  Today, the dinner, dancing, fundraising event has grown to honor Sophia's memory, as well as celebrate what the foundation has done throughout the year to help local youth and raise money so we can continue to bring events, books and more to communities to support young people learn about and achieve mental wellness.
