We are a very small synagogue but very big on social action and donate our time helping feed, clothe and educate young adults at 18 leaving foster care with no place to go. We also feed our homeless veteran population. In addition, we volunteer our time to help special needs children learn how to read. Also, our Rabbi is the only female Rabbi in the U.S. who prepares female inmates for post release.

The gala will be held at the Mulholland Tennis Club in L.A. We are the only establishment in California where 3 different women head the Church of different religions - Christian, Muslim and Jewish. We encourage togetherness through interfaith.

We are only able to sustain ourselves for the year with the donations we receive for the gala.
