Dear Community Member:

               The Junior Service League of Midwest City has a long history of providing support to Eastern Oklahoma County, both financially and with service hours volunteered by its members. Each year monetary grants and scholarships are awarded to various local organizations that provide benefits and services to citizens of the Midwest City and its surrounding communities.

Our Ways and Means Gala is our premiere fundraiser that raises thousands of dollars to provide these grants and scholarships to reinvest into local Eastern Oklahoma County to charities in the county as well as local graduating seniors.

We would love to include your business in our auction in any way possible. We have options that include sponsorships and actual donations for our live and silent auction. I have attached the sponsorship forms to this letter as well as a pamphlet explaining what Junior Service League is about.

The mission of The Junior Service League of Midwest City shall be to foster interest among its members in the social, economic, educational, cultural, and civic conditions of the community and to provide its members opportunities for service. We do that by providing grants and scholarships to members of Eastern Oklahoma County. JSL is a 501(c)(3) organization with a tax id of 73-6112032.

Last year we awarded $49000 in grant money to the following organizations:

·        Choctaw Elementary PTO

·        Choctaw Nicoma Park – Search

·        Leah’s Hope Inc.

·        Mid-Del Food Pantry

·        Carl Albert High School Band

·        Mid-Del Group Home

·        Carl Albert High School Unified Champion Club

It takes donations of all sizes to make this event successful. The best auction items start with something that can help you promote your business, like offering a gift certificate on a service, or donating one of your products. We are looking for any items or experiences that would be of value, ex. teeth whitening, spa experiences, hotel stays, vacation home rentals, activities or entertainment tickets, etc. We would so appreciative of any and all donations or sponsorships.

If you have previously donated to Junior Service League, we would like to say a huge THANK YOU! We can’t do what we do without business and people like you. We would love to see you back at our event this year or help you procure a sponsorship for your business to make sure everyone at our event knows who you are!
