Description

The Benchley-Weinberger Foundation is a non-profit organization whose main objective is to
raise funds to help support our local public school, Benchley-Weinberger Elementary. Money
raised through these fundraising efforts, helps the Foundation directly support areas of need,
such as: technology, music, art, educational resources, library materials, reading support,
lunch supervision, field trips, physical education and recess equipment, and more.

The Foundation’s largest fundraising event is our annual Gala and Auction. This year the event will be taking place at The Dana on Mission Bay on April 20th, 2024. This event is a
massive undertaking for our volunteer led group. We rely heavily on contributions from the
community for services, merchandise, gift certificates, vacations, and/or other small and big
ticket items to use for our silent and live auctions.
