Lee Montessori is a leader in establishing high quality, public Montessori schools in Washington, DC.  We serve 500 students from diverse backgrounds across two campuses in historically underserved areas. We combine the Montessori method - supporting children's academic, physical, social, and emotional growth - with a robust Anti-Bias and Anti-Racism curriculum, to prepare our students for a lifetime of joyful learning. Our annual Gala and Silent Auction is our biggest source of private funding and helps keep our schools strong. This year, our goal is to raise $75,000 total, with $15,000 raised in the silent auction. This funding will help us buy furniture as our East End campus continues to grow, refresh materials at our Brookland campus, and improve the playgrounds at both campuses. We will acknowledge donations on our auction website and through our marketing and social media.
