Our program, Rally Against Parkinson's (RAP) serves anyone who has been diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease. Parkinson's Disease impacts 1% of the populati0n, and more when considering family and care partners. RAP provides FREE fitness and wellness programs to anyone diagnosed with PD.  Our free programs include 8 weekly classes offered live in two facilities in Harford County and virtually, two classes per week. These vital programs are provided by nationally certified instructors of Rock Steady Boxing. These programs are one of a kind in providing relief from symptoms, but also provide camaraderie and a safe place for those battling the disease to share their stories with others like them. Our numbers keep increasing and we are doing all we can as an all-volunteer organization to not only provide free services, but to provide outreach to help those in underserved communities learn about PD in hopes to help those that go undiagnosed. We accept all who come to us and search for those who don't know our mission.

On February 21, 2025, RAP will host its largest fundraiser of the year, our annual bull roast. In order for us to meet a large portion of our operating costs (cost for rent, class fees and instructor training) we have a goal of raising $30,000 at our bull roast. Our silent auction is the most lucrative component of the evening. We have the classic liquor and money wheels, raffles and the like, but the silent auction is how we can meet our goal. We are collecting donations from now until the second week of February for both raffle baskets and silent auction items. 

During the event with nearly 400 people in attendance, we will have a slide show thanking our corporate partners and donors. These partners will also be mentioned on our social media outlets and in our program for the evening. Our quarterly newsletter will also highlight these vital donors and their contributions.
