Going Home Greyhounds, Inc. (GHG), is a non-profit organization dedicated to the welfare of retired racing greyhounds.  GHG, the first greyhound placement organization in Western Pennsylvania, is celebrating 23 years of placing retired racers in forever homes!  We not only find homes for retired racers where they can live out their natural lives as loving companion animals, but also work to educate the public about the retired racer’s care and qualities as a pet.  Visit our website at www.goinghomegreyhounds.org for an insight of the exciting things we are doing.  GHG continues to take in as many retired racing greyhounds as possible, having placed more than 2,100 hounds, to date, into their forever homes.

This is where GHG needs your help.  On Saturday, September 8, 2018 we will celebrate our 

23rd Anniversary at our Annual Reunion Picnic!!    All monies raised at this event help to cover the expenses of fostering greyhounds taken in for adoption.  Events such as the Annual Reunion Picnic allow GHG to continue to find homes for these wonderful hounds.  We have had great success placing hounds, with broken legs and other racing related injuries, which other adoption groups may not be able to place.  With your help, we can continue offering these unique services.  Please consider a donation to either our Silent or Chinese Auctions.  Donations do not necessarily have to be pet related – gift cards, lottery tickets, memorabilia items or cash are acceptable.
