Description

The BCCCF Annual Scholarship Fundraiser will be held on October 25, 2018 featuring a dinner, dance and auction. Our goal is to raise funds to go exclusively toward scholarships and emergency grants for students who otherwise would be unable to attend college. The event will be held at the Washington Civic Center in dowtown Washington, NC. The Embers featuring Craig Woolard will be our headliner and the event will run from 5:30pm - 11:00pm.

This signature event and its proceeds will support the educational goals of our students over a 4 county service area encompassing 2008 square miles. Approximately 85% of BCCC students need financial assistance to complete their course of study. Since the state's funding continues to decrease, and tuition continues to increase, support from other resources is critical to enable students to get the education they deserve.

BCCC ranks number 1 in the northeast region of the state for impact on the salaries of students who attend a community college. Students who attend BCCC can expect, on average, to see their salaries increase by 40 percent upon leaving the college. Over 95% of BCCC graduates were either employed in North Carolina or enrolled in higher education within one year of graduation.  We measure our success by our students' success.

We are asking for your support in by donating an auction item.  Anything you wish to contribute will be greatly appreciated and acknowledged.
