My name is Lauren Maisberger, the Director of Development at Allen Community College in Iola, KS. I lead all of our fundraising efforts at the Endowment Association. Each year the Endowment hosts our Annual Scholarship Gala. This year our Gala is on Saturday, March 23, 2024. We raise funds to help provide students with scholarships the following academic year and our goal this year is to raise $50,000. All of the proceeds from the Gala go directly back to the students, none of it is kept by the Endowment. 

At Allen we serve a lot of rural and underprivileged students who struggle with the financial burden of college tuition. Being able to help alleviate that burden through scholarships, makes all the difference in a student receiving their education
