Each year, our Annual Spring Benefit Concert & Silent Auction brings together around 250 local community members for an afternoon of uplifting music and revelry. All proceeds from the event go towards supporting the sustainability of general operations of Siena Retreat Center and enhancing initiatives to make our programs financially accessible to all. For example, the funds raised from the annual concert play a major role in funding our scholarship program and our public programs that are free or by-donation. These initiatives allow us to foster a community that is inclusive and supports personal growth and healing for all, regardless of their ability to pay. Many of our scholarship recipients have gone on to take part in our Spiritual Guidance Training Program and our Bereavement Companion Training program, becoming certified guides that touch the lives of many in the community beyond Siena’s walls. In total, Siena Retreat Centers serves nearly 4,000 community members each year and the Annual Spring Benefit Concert plays a major role in the ongoing success of our operations.
