We are a small non-profit 501c3 organization with 80 employees that provide numerous needed  and free services to our rural community.  We are funded by federal and state grants as well as donations, EIN#58-1470587.

Our services include our flagship which is our health center that provides a sliding scale payment program for those who are uninsured for both clinical and behavioral health.  No one is ever turned away due to their inability to pay. We offer free health education courses, such as smoking cessation, diabetic training and elderly yoga and balance programs.  We have the only Black Lung clinic in TN.  Our Black Lung department assists retired miners in free testing and filing for federal black lung benefits.  Our Family Services departmant operates 2 domestic violence shelters, a free clothing closet, education programs and onsite counseling.  We also offer programs such as Generation Hope which teaches the Botvin Life Skills program to teach youth in our county of the dangers of drugs, smoking and vaping.  And educates the youth on social media dangers and bullying.  We also house the 8th Judicial District Recovery Court program, Dolly Parton's Imagination Library for our county and a free financial literacy program, Financial Empowerment.

Each year we have an all day Employee Training Event.  This years event will be on Sept 19th.  The events of the day include updates from each department, compliance and staff accountability trainings and team work building exercises.
