Each year our Y raises funds during our Annual Strong Kids Campaign.  These donations are used to sponsor children in programs, membership and special events.  Donations keep swim lessons affordable (we are a river community), teach valuable life skills such as teamwork, caring, respect and fun through youth sports and allow families to gather at the Y to take advantage of our numerous family events and activities.  

Our Campaign and your support directly benefit the youth in our community by allowing families who are in need to sign up for programs and memberships.  The programs that the YMCA offers give the youth of Kankakee County the skills and opportunities they need to build healthy spirit, mind and body. 

Each year we host a silent auction at our annual Strong Kids Celebration.  This event will be held on September 24, 2019.  We realize that we can make a big difference in the lives of the children in our community when we work together.  

We'd like to ask you to consider joining in partnership with the Y to make a real, demonstrable difference in the lives of our children.  Any donation is greatly appreciated and as a non-profit organization your donation is tax exempt.
