Dear Supporters,

On Saturday, July 13, 2024, the Count Basie Center for the Arts, New Jersey’s premier
center for the cultural arts, dedicated to fostering powerful, inclusive artistic experiences
and creative exchange of ideas, will be hosting their Annual Summer Gala.
This year’s event is expected to draw 300 VIP guests and will feature a sold-out performance
by the Pretenders, along with a live auction, silent auction, and post-show dance party in
The Vogel.

To help make this event successful we are asking local businesses to donate items to
be used in our gift auction. We are seeking gifts cards, tickets, jewelry, unique experiences
or items and other miscellaneous elements to round out our offerings for the night of the
event.

The Basie’s mission is to inspire, educate and entertain through its distinct and engaging
cultural and artistic offerings that reflect the diversity of the region. As a nonprofit
organization, the Basie is committed to enriching the community’s quality of life by
generating opportunities for participation in the arts, partnering with schools, collaborating
with other mission-based organizations, and driving regional economic prosperity. It is only
through generous gifts that we can continue to fulfill this mission.
