Dear FOWA Supporter:

We hope that this letter finds you and your family safe and healthy. First, let me sincerely thank you for your previous support of FOWA. Without your support and donations, we could not continue our work to save and find new forever loving families for hundreds of homeless dogs and cats each year.

The members of FOWA, our volunteers and foster families are wonderful at caring for and finding new homes for the many dogs and cats in our stewardship. However, we do not have a separate physical shelter building or facility – all the animals in our care are sheltered in the homes of FOWA members and foster families. This allows us to devote 100% of the funds we raise to the care of our foster dogs and cats.

Our Tricky Tray is by far the most important fundraising event of the year, providing over 50% of our operating budget.  Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have had to postpone our full-scale 2020 annual Tricky Tray fundraiser to 2021. Unfortunately, the need of homeless animals does not stop, and we still need conduct fundraising in order to be able to help them.  We are asking for your assistance by donating an auction item which will aid in our mission to rescue, rehabilitate and find forever homes for the animals in our care. We would greatly appreciate your support.  Donations of merchandise, services, gift certificates and cash or check. No amount is too small.  Our annual Tricky Tray fundraiser is scheduled for Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at The Grand, 38 Lackawanna Avenue, Totowa, New Jersey. All proceeds from this event will go directly toward the care of our homeless animals.

FOWA Rescue, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) rescue dedicated to the welfare, sheltering and placement of homeless animals. We are committed to educating the public about the humane treatment of animals, preventing animal cruelty, stopping the overpopulation epidemic and promoting animal welfare. We depend upon charitable donations to care for the helpless animals that come through our doors.
